Beam levels at the input face are set at a higher height creating the incline for the pallets. As pallets are picked a safety oeparator is activated. This holds the accumulated load of several tonnes & allows only one pallet to flow smoothly & securely to the front face. The red area on the above diagram shows that FIFO Pallet Racking saves up to 60% space compared with conventional wide aisle racking.
